Web site traffic -- the most by a single event sports Web site -- recorded more than 1.7 billion page views from 31 May through 29 June, with total traffic expected to surpass two billion page views by tournament's end.

As part of its multi-year relationship with FIFA, Yahoo! will produce and commercially market the Official Web site during the next FIFA World Cup -- 2006 in Germany -- as well as maintain its marketing rights as an Official FIFA Partner during the FIFA Women's World Cup China PR 2003, 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany and at additional FIFA events.
